Emily is a senior at Peninsula High School. She has been playing water polo for nine years. This is Emily’s fourth year on the varsity water polo team and she was on the Peninsula swim team for two years. She is also the captain of the girls water polo team. Emily is very excited to teach your kids to swim.
Yaseen will be attending USC in the fall. Throughout high school he has played trumpet in both the jazz band and orchestra since his freshman year. He also played trumpet outside of his school for a professional youth orchestra. Yaseen played Waterpolo during high school and has prior experience with Junior Lifeguards and Club Waterpolo. He has experience teaching kids in music from volunteering in the summer to teach kids how to play the trumpet. In his free time Yaseen likes to go fishing, running, or spend time with his friends
Reiv is going into his second year at Cal Poly SLO as a Business major. His SAT is 1420 and his college GPA is 3.1. He is CPR, Heartsaver, and First Aid certified. He played water polo for 5 years, swam for 2, lacrosse for 2, football for 1 year. At Cal Poly he swims for the CP Swim Club. He is CPR certified and would love to teach your kid how to swim!
Lauren Brenizer will be attending University of Washington in the fall. Throughout all four years in high school she has played varsity golf and was the team captain as well. She was involved in many group organizations such as national honors society. Since she was in 7th grade she has babysat kids and this past year has worked with kids from ages 6 months to 12 years old at the local gym. She is CPR certified and loves being around kids. On Lauren’s free time she likes to hang out with her friends and family, workout, and travel.
Emily Wang will be attending Emory University in the fall. Throughout high school she was captain of Peninsula High’s varsity swim team and spent most of her time in the pool or at the beach. During the summer she is a swim teacher at Rolling Hills Country Day camp and did Junior Guards at Torrance Beach. She hopes to teach others how to swim in a fun and memorable way.
Hi all. I am Alexandra. I will be a senior at PVHS. First off, I have lots of experience with kids. Not only do I babysit quite often, I was also a Pop Warner trainer so I have experience dealing with multiple kids hours at a time. I have been a volunteer Student Aide for PVPUSD for the past 4 summers. I am happy to swim, play games, make dances, tutor or whatever you need. In addition, I have my driver’s license and I am CPR certified. Lastly, Alexandra enjoys to swim during her free time. She was a Junior Lifeguard at Torrance beach and would love to help kids swim in a fun, safe way.
Catherine is a first year student at University of California, Santa Barbara. She graduated from PVPHS last year, where she was the captain of the Varsity Girls Water Polo team and also swam on the JV Swim team. She has also previously worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard at Peninsula Bay Cities Day Camp over the summer. She is very excited to help new people be more comfortable in the water and improve their swimming skills.
Victoria will be attending Chapman University in the fall as an education major. Throughout her time in high school, Victoria spent much of her time volunteering with special needs kids at Ability First and giving back to her community through Ek Kardia. She is CPR certified was a swim instructor at Ability First. She currently babysits and drivers for numerous families on the hill and has experience with changing diapers and caring for toddlers. In her free time, Victoria enjoys listening to music and going on trips with her friends.
Roxana will be a senior at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in the fall and has six years of competitive swim experience, five years of Junior Lifeguards experience, and is CPR certified. She enjoys spending time with children and would love to make learning how to swim an enjoyable and safe experience! She also spends time organizing her own home and the homes of other family members and loves to work with others to find the best way to organize a home to fit an individual’s lifestyle!
