Troy Simpkins is attending USC. He graduated from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School where he’s played on both the Varsity Basketball and Lacrosse team for the past three years. Throughout high school, Troy has passed on his sports knowledge by coaching youth basketball for the Palos Verdes Basketball Association. He was recently elected as the Boys Commissioner of Athletics for Peninsula’s ASB. He hopes to inspire the future generation of athletes through his hard work and passion for sports and can improve footwork, cardio, strength to take your young athlete to the next level.
Caleb is a senior at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School where he plays varsity football and junior varsity basketball. He was recently elected as the Junior Class Vice President for Peninsula’s ASB. He has a 4.6 GPA and is an AP and honors student. He is available for football training and specializes in training for defensive linemen. His mindset is to combine the right amount of hard work and fun to get the best results and the best experience
Reiv is going into his second year at Cal Poly SLO as a Business major. He is CPR, Heartsaver, and First Aid certified. He played water polo for 5 years, swam for 2, lacrosse for 2, and football for 1 year. At Cal Poly he swims for the CP Swim Club and enjoys playing sports in his free time. He loves working with kids and enjoys playing sports with his little cousins.
Yaseen is a freshman at USC. Throughout high school he has played trumpet in both the jazz band and orchestra since his freshman year. He also played trumpet outside of his school for a professional youth orchestra. Yaseen played Waterpolo during high school and has prior experience with Junior Lifeguards and Club Waterpolo. Yaseen is also an experienced surfer and would love to teach anyone the fundamentals of surfing. He has experience teaching kids in music from volunteering in the summer to teach kids how to play the trumpet. In his free time Yaseen likes to go fishing, running, or spend time with his friends
Hi my name is Ralph Torres and I am a senior at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. I have grown up in the Palos Verdes area for my entire life and I am very excited to give back to the local community. I’ve been playing golf since I could walk and am going into my 4th year with my high school golf team. I am happy to help your child learn the fundamentals of golf and putting these techniques to use on the course.
Jade is a senior at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. She loves to help young children through teaching basic Biology. She has gotten As in both semesters of AP Biology and has passed the AP Biology exam in 2020. She is also a member of the Science National Honors Society at Peninsula HS. In addition to her school coursework, she is a US Figure Skating Gold Medalist in Moves in the field and can teach young children how to ice skate. She also runs a Youth Organization called MindsetSeed with her friends to promote a growth mindset in young learners.
Colin Au is currently a 3rd year university student who recently transferred to Cal Poly Pomona. Before then, he spent 2 years playing at the University of Redlands Men's Basketball team. For high school, Colin played all 4 years of Varsity basketball with his first 2 years being at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School and then transferring for his junior and senior year to Rolling Hills Prep. There, he won 2 Southern Section championships and 1 state championship while being name All-League First Team his junior year. Colin has played for many excellent coaches over the years and has experienced coaching 20+ high school athletes and participated in college clinics over the years.
Aidan Hay will be attending Cal Baptist University where he will be playing D1 Men's Soccer. He graduated from Peninsula High School. He has played soccer for 4 years at Peninsula High School; two of which were on Varsity. He plays goalkeeper and just recently found himself playing forward. For the first two years of high school Aidan played tennis and the last two years playing for varsity volleyball where he won the CIF Championship as an outside hitter. Playing for many different teams throughout his career, Aidan has learned that working with your team is the most important part because making the team is based on skill but learning how to be apart of a team is the most important step to success.
Jack is currently an athlete at Peninsula high School. He plays both football and baseball. He is entering his senior year and was fortunate enough to play varsity football since freshman year and varsity baseball since sophomore year. Footwork is an extremely important part of football for all positions. He has experience playing quarterback, kicking, punting, receiver, safety, and linebacker. He has also pitched, played outfield, and love hitting. I value hard work and being in the best shape as possible. Hard work can truly separate two on-par athletes.
Marcus Kim will be entering his senior year in high school at Peninsula. He is involved in things such as Model United Nations, Technology Student Association, Mock Trial, cross country and tennis. He was on Varsity tennis all three years so far at Peninsula, and has been playing since he was in the 3rd Grade. He would enjoy teaching the fundamentals of tennis and spreading his passion to others and allow them to experience the joy of tennis.
Arvine Esteva is a collegiate soccer player at California State University Los Angeles. He has been playing soccer his entire life and he also is the founder of Estfootball, a soccer training company which trains all ranges of soccer players. The goal of the company is to produce technical gifted soccer players. This is done by 1 on 1 and group sessions. The focus is to help all players that train with estfootball to reach their fullest potential in soccer!
Megan Hwang is a senior at Peninsula High this year serving as the ASB Vice President and is involved in other organizations on campus such as being a member of NHS Board, Social Science NHS, Math NHS, Teen Court, and Yearbook editor. She frequently volunteers with children with disabilities through organizations such as Ready, Willing, and Able and Camp Escapades. Megan has experience with kids of all ages since she’s been a camp counselor at Country Day Camp for the past 3 years. She also enjoys playing piano and recently completed level 10 advanced of Piano Certificate of Merit. Another one of her passions is dancing as she was on both Peninsula High’s Varsity Dance Team and Choreo Company where she both choreographed and competed. She would love to babysit, tutor, teach piano, or teach dance and she is CPR certified.
Jami is a junior at Peninsula High School with a passion for helping others and playing basketball. She is the starting point guard on her high school varsity basketball team and also plays on her AAU club team, SoCal Supreme. Along with that, she is a writer for her school newspaper, the Pen, and volunteers with multiple organizations, including NCL, NOVAS, Blue Jackets, and OCO Octagons. Jami is a very energetic and competitive girl, and she always tries her best in everything she does.
Paige is a senior at Peninsula High school. She is involved in many extracurricular activities. She has volunteered for Las Niñas for four years, and has many job experiences. Paige has worked as a tumbling assistant, cheerleading trainer, and gymnastics coach. She is even captain of the cheerleading team at Peninsula High School. Paige loves working with kids and has lots of experience in babysitting!
Eli is a second-year student at the University of California, Berkeley who intends to Major in Economics and Minor in Data Science. He is from Napa, California, and attended Vintage High School. Other than school, Eli was a member of the baseball team at Cal as a Right-Handed Pitcher in his freshman year. In his free time, Eli enjoys golfing, cooking, and exploring the Bay Area.

Aidan Armstrong is a senior at Peninsula High School. He plays soccer for FRAM Sports Club in the South Bay. He plays goalkeeper for both his varsity high school team and FRAM. He is a great goalkeeper trainer and also a great soccer trainer in general. Aidan’s team plays at the top flight of soccer in the SDCSL soccer league. Aidan also has been golfing since the age of 12 and regularly golfs on the weekends at the PV Golf Course and takes lessons there as well. He is happy to help teach the basics of golf and play a round of golf with your child as well.
JT London is a senior at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School where he plays on both the football and lacrosse teams. In his free time, JT likes to stay active and moving. He has helped kids stay active by coaching PVBA Challenger Basketball. JT is also a part of Peninsula High School's ASB as the commissioner of Publicity. JT is looking to share his passion for exercise and fitness by training others and leading them into a healthy lifestyle.
Chrislyn is an incoming freshman at USC studying Business Administration. She is both kind-hearted and responsible, having been a part of Palos Verdes Peninsula High School's Link Crew (commissioner), Coed Choreo (captain), National Honor Society (board), and Baking Club (founder). She loves working with kids and students alike and can tutor all subjects. Chrislyn has experience tutoring AP Psychology and Geometry Honors, as well as private dance lessons. She is also fluent in Mandarin if translation is needed for your student. She is looking forward to working with you and your child!
John graduated from Peninsula High School in 2019, where he was a three sport athlete playing football, basketball, and volleyball and named one of three male athletes of the year. He currently attends Cal Poly Slo where he is studying Business Administration. John has experience coaching as well through PVBA and Lomita park and has the tools to help take your child to the next level while having some fun experiencing the joys of Athletics.
Ben is a sophomore at South High School. He's played on the Varsity Golf Team for 2 years and has been playing golf for 12 years. He’s represented the Torrance, PV, Peninsula, and Redondo Beach School districts at the 2018-2019 CIF Regional Finals as one of 4 total freshmen. Ben has been self taught for 10 years. He is also involved in Youth training with Scouting BSA.
